Before you get a tattoo:

The Artist:

The worst thing you can do is to run to your nearest tattoo shop, and get in the chair without taking some precautions. It's very important that your tattoo artist uses sterile equipment and work in a clean environment. Ask if you are uncertain of this. Also check if your tattoo artist is good at what you want for the motive. Don't trust the artist before you check his/her portfolio. At Personal Art Tattoo you can be sure to get an artist who specializes in what you want. Some artists are more expensive than others, but don't let money be your guide.

The Motive:

The best motive is visualisation of your personality rather than a visulisation of the latest trend. Always have in mind that the motive will be your facade for life. If you can't find anything you would like to front until death, ask the aritst if the artist could draw something for you. Don't be afraid to show yourself in your tattoo. It's also possible to fix an old tattoo if you're not happy with it. If it's old, faded, too small, boring or just plain ugly, we are happy to help you with a cover up, or a fix up.

Important!

Before you get your tattoo, have in mind that you can not expose the tattoo in the sun for 3-4 weeks. If you do, you can get extremely sunburned, and the tattoo will be destroyed (and this is not covered by our guarantee). Another important thing to remember, is that your tattoo is an open wound the first 3-4 weeks, and is very sensitive. Do not swim or bathe in any kind of water. You can shower as usual, but be careful with soap, because it can dry out the tattoo.
